​I studied Biotechnology at the HAN University of Applied Sciences in Nijmegen. During my study I did an internship for 10 months at the department of Biochemistry . This department is affiliated with Radboud Institute for Molecular Life Sciences. After completing my study in 1991, I started as a research technician at the department of Human Genetics in the group of Edwin Mariman. In 2003 I started in the group of Prof. Ronald Roepman. I take part in guiding master and PhD students and support PhD students and post-docs in various aspects of their research.

Personal touch

​I like watching TV series, travelling, playing cards, spending time with my family and friends and do some sports.
